Jane is a Kenyan citizen currently a Rotary Global Peace scholar pursuing her M.A in Peace and Justice Studies at the University of San Diego. She is a founding member of the Children Peace Initiative Kenya (https://cpikenya.org/). Prior to joining Kroc School, Jane worked as a Country Associate representing Kenya in the implementation of a Cross Border Peace Project under the partnership of University for Peace- Costa Rica. She graduated from Catholic University of Eastern Africa with Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science. After graduating, she worked as an educator with CEFA—an Italian NGO working with children in government correctional institutions. Jane is a Paul Harris Fellow awarded in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among people in the world.
