Travel Background
I delight in traversing borders and cultures. When I was a sophomore in college, I traveled to Zimbabwe to attend a conference that brought together students from all over Africa. My job after college accorded me numerous opportunities to travel and host people from all over the world. In 2002, I spent a memorable summer in Lisbon enjoying Portuguese food, music and
art, while studying in an intensive language program. One of my favorite destinations is Rio de Janeiro, where I led a study tour in 2019. To date, I have traveled to over 25 countries and I am looking forward to many more!
